Maria Heyen

Maria is an Associate at Redbud VC. Prior to joining Redbud VC, Maria spent two years with the Nebraska Angels, one of the Angel Capital Association's most active groups. At the Nebraska Angels, Maria led external promotion efforts and internal educational events that resulted in a membership increase from 60 to 102 members and a growth in social media following of 600%. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. At UNL, Maria was one of 10 recipients of a Student Luminary Award for exceptional leadership and promotion of DEI initiatives across the university campus and was named the Nebraska College of Business Graduating Student of the Year.
